Meet Dr. Puckett

Dr. Joshua Puckett was raised in Section, Alabama and graduated from Section High School in 1999. He graduated from Northeast Alabama Community College in 2001 with an Associate of Science degree, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Auburn University in 2004.

In 2009, he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry. Following graduation, Dr. Puckett worked as a general practitioner for two years with the Indian Health Service in Tuba City, AZ. He then returned to the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Dentistry for his Endodontic post-graduate program. Dr. Puckett completed his post-graduate training in June 2013.

Following completion of his Endodontic post-graduate program, Dr. Puckett started his private specialty practice – Southern Tennessee Endodontics in Tullahoma, TN. He continues to practice in Tullahoma and loves the area, his patients, and the high quality dental offices and dentists with whom he is privileged to work.

Josh grew up on a cattle farm in a small, rural community in Northeast Alabama, so Tennessee felt like home for him and his family right away. Josh has been blessed with an amazing wife, Amanda, two beautiful, sweet daughters, Ivy & Susanna Mae, and an adorable, “all-boy” son, Sawyer. Josh is a big fan of gardening, farming, or anything outdoors that involves equipment. He enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
